Intro
In the original Mario Kart DS the game’s retro cups were going to be grouped by console (eg. SNES cup, N64 cup, etc.).

- 02 Star Cup
- 03 special cup
- 04 SNES cup
- 05 N64 cup
- 06 GBA cup

Trivia
- Unlike the current Retro Cups, which have an order of SNES, N64, GBA and GCN, the Retro Cups in the Beta have all SNES tracks in SNES Cup, and so on.
- There's a Nitro Cup and a Retro Cup, a side of the usual Cups, due to the Demo purposes.
